Learnng Greek

My wife was born in Greece. We have an apartment on a Greek island and visit Greece each year. My wife speaks Greek fluently and we have cousins/friends who primarily speak Greek.
I bought Rosetta Stone in February and have been very impressed. I have completed level 1 and am in the middle of level 2. My ability to understand Greek has improved immensely. I am totally impressed with the Rosetta Stone software, supplemental CDs and the approach used. I have no doubt that I will meet my objectives in the next year or so.
I purchased levels 1 and 2 and once I finish level 2, I will purchase level 3. It is everything I had hoped for and more. It will take a lot of time, but I feel I will become very good at understanding and to an extent speaking Greek.

Great tool for learning ne language

The Rosetta Stone program starts out with a simple foundation and easy reinforcement. As time goes on the content gets more challenging. One needs to go with the process and their intuition even when it gets tougher. The sound quality is great. The pictures are beautiful and clear. Overall it is a wonderful program that will get you speaking a new language.

I have found the Rosetta Stone system to be very effective and fun. It is like having your own personal language teacher sitting next to you. I would definitely recommend Rosetta Stone to anyone who wants to learn another language or brush up on a language they may have learned years ago.

If I could type this in Greek, I would, because I CAN.
Rosetta Stone made learning Greek easy and fun -- and it's thorough and precise. If you are serious about learning a new language once and for all, this is the key to the kingdom.

As a student, I took french in school and did very poorly. I knew the world was becoming flat, and a second language would be helpful. But why Greek? My grandparents were born there. I knew if my wife and I ever went there, I owed the world-renown "gracious people" the courtesy of knowing some Greek. So, at 55 years old, I started with Rosetta Stone Greek level 1. Within a month I was learning words, short phrases and pronounciation. As I explore the disks, I am finding so much more instruction than expected and it's fun as well. My drives are full of the audio disks, so my emerssion is greatly increased. Our trip to Greece is planned for next spring, and I couldn't be more confident about my learning ability. Could Greek be easier than French? I don't know, but the Rosetta Stone way sure seems to make it easier.
